Grillin’ On The Bay. Now in its third year, Grillin’ On The Bay is New York City’s only sanctioned barbecue contest. Grill masters from Maine to Ohio compete for cash prizes, trophies and ribbons coking chicken, fish, pork and the chef’s choice category.
For people who don’t grill, they will be able to come on by and sample barbeque and grilled foods from award winning barbecue competition cooks.
You can also meet the teams that have appeared on The Food Network, in the New York Daily News, The New York Times and The Tablet.
And finally we’ll have some great local bands to keep your feet a tapping.
Free Admission and open to all! Gates open at 10:00 AM, with the first food turn-in starting at noon. The awards ceremony will take place around 3 PM.
